Leicester have made a wonderful start to the new campaign, and they are currently top of the Premier League table after 13 matches.
And Ranieri is keen for his squad to continue to play with no fear, regardless of their form from now on.
“I told the players: ‘We can win, we can lose, we can draw, but I want to see the same mentality,’” he says. “Nobody can expect us at this level after 13 matches. But match by match I keep thinking of the fantastic poem by Rudyard Kipling, If. Victory and defeat has the same face.”
Leicester have made a habit out of coming from behind this season, and they have been praised for their never-say-die attitude.
Ranieri’s side never know when they are beaten, and they have turned numerous games around in their favour.
The Foxes are seemingly at their best when they are forced to play on the front-foot, as it allows their attacking talents to assert themselves on the match.
The likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have been sensational so far this campaign, and they will hope to carry on impressing as the season progresses.
Leicester will be looking to protect their place at the top of the Premier League table when they take on Manchester United at the weekend.
