Victor Anichebe reacts on Twitter to James Vaughan’s Birmingham move

West Bromwich Albion striker Victor Anichebe is happy to see his former Everton teammate James Vaughan join Birmingham City on loan from Huddersfield Town.

West Bromwich Albion forward Victor Anichebe has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to striker James Vaughan joining Birmingham City on loan.

Anichebe is delighted that his former Everton teammate has moved to Birmingham on an emergency loan deal from Championship rivals Huddersfield Town until June 2.

Vaughan, who started his professional career at Merseyside outfit Everton, has scored 33 goals in 95 games since joining Huddersfield, initially on loan, in 2012.

The 27-year-old former Norwich City forward has struggled for playing time at the Terriers so far this season, having managed just four substitute appearances.

The former England Under-21 international will be available for seven of the eight Birmingham matches between now and January 2.

The Blues are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 28 points from 17 matches.

Birmingham, who defeated Charlton Athletic at St. Andrew’s Stadium last weekend, will take on Brighton & Hove Albion away from home in the league on Saturday afternoon.
