Everton manager Roberto Martinez has been quoted as saying by the club’s official Twitter page that he is excited at the prospect of working with Matty Foulds from January.
The Merseyside outfit have agreed to sign the 17-year-old defender from Bury in the January transfer window.
Foulds is a product of Bury’s academy and is highly rated, and Martinez is delighted that Everton have been able to secure his services.

Everton are having a good season and appear to be in the running for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
The Toffees are seventh in the league table at the moment with 20 points from 13 matches.
Martinez’s side are just six points behind North London outfit Arsenal, who are fourth and occupy the final Champions League spot.
Everton will return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium.
