Robbie Savage analyses Manchester United’s shocking performance on Twitter

Manchester United failed to win against PSV at Old Trafford in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Former Leicester City and Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester United’s performance against PSV on Wednesday evening.

United played out a goalless draw with the Dutch giants at Old Trafford in the Champions League Group B.

Savage, who was released by the Red Devils back in 1994, was far from impressed with the football played by Louis van Gaal’s side.

Over the course of 90 minutes against PSV at Old Trafford, United had 61% of the possession, took 13 shots of which seven were on target, and earned nine corners.

PSV had just 39% of the possession, took eight shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners.

Van Gaal’s side are second in the Champions League Group B with eight points from five matches.

United are a point behind leaders VfL Wolfsburg and just one ahead of third-place PSV, and are not guaranteed a place in the last 16 of Europe’s premier club competition.
