According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, Libor Kozak is participating in extra training sessions to try and impress Remi Garde at Aston Villa.
Kozak has made just one appearance for Villa this season, but he is determined to force his way back into contention.
The Czech striker suffered a broken leg back in 2014, and he missed 14 months of action with the injury.
Since then, Kozak has not managed to force his way into Villa’s line-up, and he is still working on regaining his match-sharpness, after such a lengthy lay off.
Kozak is determined not to get downhearted about his lack of first team opportunities, though, and the Birmingham Mail suggest that he has stayed behind after training to improve his physical condition.
Kozak is said to be determined to make a success of his time at Villa Park, but it remains to be seen whether his efforts will be rewarded.
The 26-year-old forward has been linked with a loan move to Birmingham City, by the Birmingham Mail in recent times, but that deal will now have to be rushed through with the loan deadline passing later this evening.
