Report: Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion both want Burnley defender Tendayi Darikwa

Leicester City V Man Utd

Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion are looking to strengthen their squads in the January transfer window.

According to the Daily Mirror, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion are both queuing up to sign Burnley right-back Tendayi Darikwa.

The 23-year-old only moved to Turf Moor during the summer transfer window, but his impressive performances in the Championship have already caught the eye.

Both Leicester and West Brom believe Darikwa could enhance the quality of their starting line-ups, as they look to bolster their squads in the January transfer window.

Leicester have made a wonderful start to their season, and they are determined to push on in the new-year, as they look to bolster their push for a European spot.

West Brom, meanwhile, have made a steady start to their campaign, and sit safely in mid-table, but they are keen to increase entertainment value at the Hawthorns.

Bringing in a defender with the attacking quality as Darikwa possesses would help them achieve that, but Burnley are unlikely to be wanting to sell the former Chesterfield man.

Darikwa is a key part of Sean Dyche’s first team, and the Clarets will be wanting to keep their squad together as they bid to gain promotion from the Championship this season.
