Predicted Derby County XI to play Hull City - Craig Bryson to get his first start since opening day

Predicted Derby County line-up to play Hull City on Friday 27th November 2015 at 19:45. Venue: KC Stadium, Hull

Derby County have the chance to rise to the pinnacle of the Championship table on Friday night, albeit for potentially less than 24 hours.

Paul Clement's side take on the Championship's current table toppers in Hull City on Friday night in a game that should prove to be a true six-pointer.

Although the Rams have lost just once in 12 games, the Tigers have lost just once in their last 14 and remain unbeaten at home.

It could prove to be a game that shapes the Championship title race between now and the end of the season. However, both managers will no doubt take the stance that it is nothing more than just another three points up for the grabs.

Predicted Derby County XI:

Scott Carson

Cyrus Christie
Richard Keogh
Jason Shackell
Stephen Warnock

George Thorne
Jacob Butterfield
Craig Bryson

Tom Ince
Andreas Weimann
Chris Martin

Subs: Lee Grant, Chris Baird, Alex Pearce, Jamie Hanson, Jeff Hendrick, Johnny Russell and Darren Bent

It is likely to be the same side, minus the suspended Bradley Johnson, that convincingly beat promotion hopefuls Cardiff City last weekend.

The back five, despite an injury scare to Christie and Shackell, looks set to remain the same, with Thorne and Butterfield keeping their places in midfield.

Hendrick will be desperate to fill the void left by Johnson, however, Bryson looks the most likely successor in what could be his first start for the Rams since the opening day.

The two widemen are likely to retain their place, despite Ince's frustrating performance against Cardiff, as Martin looks to spearhead the attack.

Jamie Hanson could be selected for the bench, after missing out on the last two matchday squads.
