Tottenham take on Qarabag in the Europa League this evening.
Spurs headed to Azerbaijan yesterday to prepare for their ongoing Europa League campaign, when they take on Qarabag.
With two wins and one draw from their four games so far, Spurs are in a good position to qualify, and they will be hoping for a repeat of the scoreline from when Qarabag headed to White Hart Lane.
The Lilywhites secured a 3-1 wing, and that result would be perfect for Spurs.
However, Mauricio Pochettino could be tempted to field a weaker line up than usual, with the fear of an upcoming game against Chelsea.
Spurs play Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, and although the Blues are struggling this season, Pochettino will want to be able to name his strongest team, and he will want his players fresh for the game.
This means that he could field some youngsters this evening, and a selection of talented youth players have been pictured in training.
The most notable is Shayon Harrison, the 18-year-old striker who has been excelling at Under-21 level this season. He has been called up to the senior squad, and Pochettino could be tempted to throw him into action as a starter to allow Harry Kane to fully recover ahead of the weekend.
The other notable player in training is Tom Carroll, who has struggled for game time this season. He has established himself as a member of Pochettino’s first-team, but has struggled for minutes on the pitch, and the Europa League is a chance for the midfielder to claim his place as a starting player.
