Steer has moved to Huddersfield on loan until 26th December, and he looks likely to play a prominent role for David Wagner’s side.
The 23-year-old played 10 times for Huddersfield over the early part of the season, but he returned to Villa at the start of November.
There was talk that Steer would have an opportunity to force his way into the Claret and Blues’ first team, due to Brad Guzan’s poor form, but he has been unable to displace the American.
Guzan has remained as Villa’s first choice stopper, and Remi Garde has clearly felt that Steer’s development would be best served by getting him regular football again.
Huddersfield supporters were impressed by Steer during his first spell at the club, and they have been delighted to welcome the youngster back to the John Smith's Stadium.
Steer joins Huddersfield with the side currently sitting in 21st place in the Championship table.

Even Steer's Huddersfield teammate Duane Holmes had time to react to the goalkeeper's return to the Yorkshire club.
