Dembele, Son and Lamela will be key for Tottenham against Chelsea

Looking ahead to Tottenham Hotspur's clash with Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur impressed against West Ham United in their last Premier League match, running out 4-1 winners after delivering a fine attacking display, but despite their upcoming Europa League game against FK Qarabag they will already have half an eye on the clash with Chelsea this weekend.

If Mauricio Pochettino’s side win that one they will be well and truly in the title-race, no matter what the doubters say, and here we take a look at three Tottenham players who will be key if they are to secure a victory:

Heung-Min Son

Tottenham’s South Korea international is a wonderful attacking option and he was integral to much of the good work they did in the recent victory against West Ham.

While Harry Kane remains the most obvious goal-threat, Son could well prove to be the hero in what is likely to be a very tight match.

Mousa Dembele

Mousa Dembele is in outstanding form this season and another man-of-the-match performance from him against Chelsea would be very welcome among the Spurs faithful.

It will be interesting to see where he plays given the absence of Dele Alli through suspension but the likelihood is that he will play alongside Eric Dier with Christian Eriksen coming inside to play directly behind Kane.

Erik Lamela

If that is the case, Argentine international Erik Lamela could well feature from the left and how Tottenham could do with another quality performance from him.

The 23-year-old has looked considerably better this season and if he puts in a solid performance he could cause Chelsea’s full-backs all sorts of problems.
