Alan Sugar gives his verdict on Tottenham’s performance, Graham Roberts reacts on Twitter

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Qarabag in the Europa League away from home this evening.

Graham Roberts has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Qarabag away from home this evening.

Tottenham got the better of Qarabag 1-0 in Azerbaijan in the Europa League Group J.

Harry Kane’s goal in the 78th minute proved to be enough for Spurs to pick up all three points and qualify for the last-32 stage of the competition in the process.

Former Tottenham defender Roberts was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result, and do was club legend Glenn Hoddle.

Micky Hazard, who played for Tottenham from 1978 to 1985 and from 1993 to 1995, was also happy, but former Spurs chairman Lord Sugar did not find the game entertaining.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, visitors Tottenham had 66% of the possession, took 24 shots of which just eight were on target, and earned 13 corners.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will take on Chelsea at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
