The midfielder has been out of action for 14 months with a knee injury.
He last played for Forest in an East Midlands derby v Derby County way back in September last year and has been out of action in the 14 months since.
He suffered a serious knee injury 15 minutes into the match and was initially ruled out for just nine months. However, given the severity of the problem and his previous knee troubles, the recovery has taken longer than usual and he has not yet returned to action.
He was expected back in training last Friday but in fact returned to the action yesterday - where the Nottingham Forest cameras were present to capture the moment:

The importance of his return to training was clearly visible at the club's training ground yesterday. The Nottingham Forest players gathered to applaud their club captain as he made his way on to the training ground yesterday for his return to full training.
It was a lovely gesture from the players who are clearly well aware of the importance Cohen has for the club as a whole.
It is likely to still be a while yet until he has recovered sufficiently to make it back into the Forest first-team. But when he does you can be sure he will receive an excellent reception from the Forest faithful.
