Video: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gets another lesson in Scouse

Klopp Scouse Lesson

We cannot wait to hear Jurgen using these phrases more often!

We imagine it's pretty tough getting used to your team's local customs when you take over at a new club, especially if you're foreign.

And we reckon Jurgen Klopp had a bit of trouble understanding what some of the Liverpool fans were telling him during one of his many trips to the pub, or after the games.

Thankfully, Klopp has already been given a brief lesson in Scouse sayings, and now we've got the full lesson to see how he's getting on.

He's already learned the phrase 'boss tha' but we're not entirely sure that'll get him through a night out on Merseyside, would it?

Klopp has even revealed during a video on Liverpool's official YouTube channel that: "If you speak Scouse to me then I'm off, no chance!." Lucky for Jurgen, a young Liverpool fan was kind enough to help him out.

First off, he taught him 'Mi heads chocka' – surely a useful phrase if people keep shouting at him from the stands.

Second up is 'Givin it bifters' which will be handy when he has a chat to Joe Allen about his performance.

Finally, something he might need to use if Mario Balotelli comes back to Liverpool... 'Gorra cob on'

We can't wait to hear Jurgen use some of these Liverpool phrases in his next conference!
