Deutsche Bank appointed Berthold Fuerst and Richard Sheppard co-heads of mergers and acquisitions for Europe, Middle East and Africa, according to an internal memo.
Reuters reports that Fuerst and Sheppard will also keep their current roles of M&A heads for Germany and the UK, respectively, spokesman Axel Luedeke confirmed in an email.
In the meantime, Bloomberg News reports that UBS named Dawn Fitzpatrick to run a new unit combining operations within its $652bn asset management business.
Fitzpatrick, head of the UBS O’Connor hedge-fund business, will oversee a new operation combining the hedge fund, equities and multi-asset investing operations, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg. A spokesman for UBS confirmed the contents of the memo.
