Derby County take on Hull City, Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton & Hove Albion in their next three matches.
Paul Clement has told reporters at his press conference on Wednesday afternoon, covered by the club's official Twitter account, that he has stressed the importance of Derby County’s upcoming fixtures to his players.
Derby’s next three matches come against promotion chasing Hull City, Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton & Hove Albion.
And Clement is keen to ensure that the Derby squad know the importance of their upcoming fixtures, as they look to continue climbing the table.
Clement: "We have told the players that this is a key period. It's an exciting challenge for all the players to see how far they have come."— Derby County (@dcfcofficial) November 25, 2015
Derby made a slow start under Clement’s stewardship, drawing many of their early season matches, but they seem to have found their groove now.
The Rams have moved up to fourth place in the Championship table, and if they are able to beat Hull City on Friday, then they could climb to the top of the table.
That would highlight the progress that they have made recently, but picking up the three points at the KC Stadium will be a tough test.
Hull are unbeaten in their last 13 matches, and the quality of their squad makes them one of the standout teams in England’s second tier.
