The north London rivals may be about to do battle over the signature of the Brazilian striker.
The Sun had previously reported that Spurs were preparing a £10m bid for the 26-year-old, but it appears that they may be joined in the running for his signature by their bitter rivals, as well as Liverpool, as reported by the Evening Standard.
The Premier League trio have all been contacted about a potential move, and while Liverpool's attacking options suggest that they will not be looking to bolster their resources in January, the north London pair could both do with a player of Pato's calibre.
With Harry Kane being Mauricio Pochettino's only out and out striker option - although Son Heung-Min and Clinton N'Jie are both capable of being utilised up top - adding some further depth may be essential if Spurs wish to capitalise on their great start to the season.
Similarly, Arsene Wenger has just a few natural strikers to call upon. And with the squad currently depleted due to a number of injuries, he may well be tempted into a bidding war with Tottenham for the former AC Milan forward.
Pato is currently back in his homeland, with top form rediscovered during a loan spell at Sao Paulo from Corinthians.
