Dutch giants Feyenoord reportedly want to sign Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window.

Feyenoord are interested in signing Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window, according to AD.

It has been reported by the Dutch publication that the Eredivisie outfit want to recruit the 25-year-old central midfielder on loan for the second half of the season.

According to the report, Feyenoord will make the move for Fer only if they sell 20-year-old midfielder Tonny Vilna in January.

Fer, who has played 11 times for the Netherlands national team, started his career at Feyenoord, before playing for FC Twente, Norwich City and now QPR.

The Dutchman has been on the books of Rangers since 2014, but he is struggling for playing time at the time.

The 25-year-old midfielder scored six goals and created 48 chances in 29 Premier League appearances for QPR last season.

Fer had a pass accuracy of 80% and a shot accuracy of 37%, and won 74 headers, 59 dribbles and 43 tackles.

So far this season, the former Norwich man has scored one goal and created 10 chances in eight Championship games for London outfit Rangers.
