Could Pleguezuelo, Iwobi and Bielik leave Arsenal during the emergency loan window?

Taking a look at three young Arsenal players who could head out on loan this week.

While Premier League clubs cannot sign anyone until January, they can temporarily wave goodbye to some of their fringe players in what remains of the emergency loan window.

Here we take a look at three Arsenal players who could head out on loan before the end of the week:

Alex Iwobi

Alex Iwobi is a 19-year-old attacker who can play up front and on either wing. The Daily Star recently reported that Championship sides Birmingham City and Reading are both interested in taking him on loan this month but it remains to be seen if Arsenal will do business.

Iwobi has played 34 matches for Arsenal’s under-21s, scoring 12 goas and providing four assists in the process.

Julio Pleguezuelo

Arsenal’s 18-year-old centre-back Julio Pleguezuelo is highly-rated at the club and he is currently the captain at under-21 and UEFA Youth League level.

He has made 17 appearances in the former category and his composure on the ball and threat from set-pieces means other clubs are likely to be keeping a close eye on him in case he is made available for loan.

Krystian Bielik

Kristian Bielik may only be 17 but he is one of Arsenal’s most exciting youngsters and his versatility means he would be a catch for many Football League sides seeking a short-term utility player.

Able to play at centre-back or as a defensive midfielder, the young Pole has a bright future in North London but may have to go out on loan in the short term.
