HITC Sport understands Brighton & Hove Albion are targeting two new signings before the close of the loan window.
Championship promotion hopefuls Brighton & Hove Albion are hoping to sign a new striker and left-back before the emergency loan window closes this week, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Brighton boss Chris Hughton has seen his squad hit by injuries to key duo Gaetan Bong and Sam Baldock in recent weeks.
Full-back Bong is expected to be out of action until January with a thigh injury, while Baldock is also still sidelined as he recovers from a thigh problem of his own.
Hughton is ready to dip into the loan market to bring in a striker and left-back to provide cover for Bong and Baldock knowing his squad will be stretched during the busy festive period, with six games coming up in December.
Brighton remain unbeaten in the Championship after 17 games and Hughton is hoping to get the go ahead to bring in some fresh faces to help his squad.
The Seagulls are currently second in the table and Hughton is aware that his ranks may need some help after a number of injuries if they want to maintain their push for promotion.
