Henry has joined Blackburn until January, as announced on the club's official website, and the Rovers supporters are familiar with the defender’s talents.
The Canadian spent a productive spell at Ewood Park last term, and Blackburn fans have welcomed him back with open arms.
Henry is yet to play for West Ham’s first team in the Premier League, and Slaven Bilic obviously felt his development would be best served out on loan.
The Hammers have high hopes for Henry’s future after signing him from Toronto FC in January, but breaking into West Ham’s starting line-up has proved tough.
Bilic has the likes of Angelo Ogbonna, Winston Reid, James Tomkins and James Collins to choose from at centre-back, and Henry was a long way down the pecking order.
He will hope to break straight into Blackburn’s first team, though, with the next outing for Paul Lambert’s side coming against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Here is the best reaction from Blackburn fans on social media site Twitter to Henry’s arrival.

Remember signing Doneil before playing Wednesday last year... "Who the hell?"... "Why is he starting?"... "Oh he's pretty good never mind."— Mikey Delap (@MikeyDelap) November 24, 2015
