Cristiano Ronaldo is taking his mind off El Clasico misery by reading a book penned by Sheffield Wednesday star Jose Semedo.
The Real Madrid superstar is close pals with Semedo, and even wrote a foreword to the book, and showed his support for the midfielder by posing with it on his Twitter feed, sharing it with his staggering 38.9 million followers.
Ronaldo and Semedo played together in Sporting Lisbon's academy, and remain close pals and were pictured on holiday together earlier this summer.
Semedo, 30, by comparison has 9.5 million Twitter followers, and is not shy of mentioning his friendship with Ronaldo on the social networking site.

Semedo's book is called 'Win The Day', and is an autobiographical look at his career so far, and his steps to making it as a footballer.
He promised last week to sign every copy if given the chance when presented to him by a fan, so any supporters enjoying it will have to track him down. Ronaldo may be more difficult to get hold of.
On weekend the book can be bought from the club shop. Exciting! Whenever I see you guys will try to stop and sign every copy, if poss #swfc— José Semedo (@JVSemedo) November 17, 2015
