The Red Devils will host the Dutch giants in the Champions League Group B, and former United striker Owen believes that the home team all pick up all three points.
“PSV have lost nine of their last 11 CL games on the road whilst United, on the other hand, have won six of their last seven CL home games,” the former England international wrote on Betvictor.com.
“PSV were, arguably, fortunate to win the reverse fixture in the Netherlands earlier in the campaign and I can’t see past a win for the hosts back at Old Trafford.”
United will head into Wednesday’s encounter on the back of a narrow 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.
The Red Devils were far from convincing in their performance against the Hornets, but they continued their trend of winning without being particularly entertaining.
Louis van Gaal’s side will be heavy favourites to win against PSV on Wednesday, especially as they are at home and have - on paper at least - the better team.
The Premier League giants are at the top of the Champions League Group B with seven points from four matches.
PSV are a point behind United in second, and they will be determined to at least pick up a point at Old Trafford in order to maintain their chances of qualifying to the last 16 of Europe’s premier club competition.
