Brendan Rodgers is considered an outsider to land the Queens Park Rangers job.
Rodgers is currently looking for a new club following his dismissal as Liverpool boss.
And Ephraim believes that QPR should look to place the Northern Irishman in charge, as they search for Chris Ramsey’s replacement.
Rodgers (not sure if he'd take it), if not Pearson/JFH. (See I'm not against British managers, I'm backing 2 ) https://t.co/WXP6jd4ZL2— Hogan Ephraim (@HoganEphraim) November 23, 2015
If QPR did manage to land Rodgers it would be a serious statement of intent, as his reputation is still high, despite the way his time at Anfield ended.
It was not too long ago that the 42-year-old boss was helping the Reds to challenge for the Premier League title, so to encourage him to move into the Championship would be a sign of QPR’s ambition.
It seems more likely that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will be QPR’s next choice as boss though, with the Dutchman currently the favourite.
QPR are said by Sky Sports to be keen on appointing Hasselbaink, but Burton Albion have denied any approach as yet.
