Graham Roberts reacts on Twitter to Kyle Walker's performance v West Ham

The former Tottenham man heaped praise on the full-back after his display against West Ham.

Graham Roberts was delighted with Kyle Walker's performance against West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

The Tottenham Hotspur full-back put in another solid display, which was this time capped off with a goal. And not just any goal: Walker curled a fantastic strike in late on - with the outside of his boot.

It was Walker's 250th club appearance and it couldn't have gone much better for the 25-year-old or his team-mates.

And Roberts was keen to praise the 'superb' defender on Twitter, also lauding the Tottenham back four as a whole.

Walker's improvement needs little further documentation. The Spurs man was well out of form last term but can blame some of that on injury.

This season, along with plenty of other Tottenham stars, the 25-year-old looks a completely different player.

His goal against West Ham was one to savour and, a late consolation goal aside, the north London outfit were extremely solid defensively against the Hammers.

Next up for Walker and co are Qarabag in the Europa League - and then a certain Chelsea side in the Premier League.
