Tottenham hammered West Ham United 4-1 at White Hart Lane today.
The two teams went in to the game level on 21 points, hovering outside the top four - but with bragging rights on the line, it was Spurs who came out victorious.
West Ham enjoyed a bright start to the game, but Harry Kane opened the scoring for Spurs with a thumping finish in to the roof of the net.
Cheikhou Kouyate hit the crossbar for West Ham shortly after that, but defender Toby Alderweireld but Spurs 2-0 up with a thumping header from Christian Eriksen's corner.
Kane then hammered home Tottenham's third goal, driving the ball beyond Hammers goalkeeper Adrian from range, with Spurs again impressing in front of goal.
A flowing move then saw Son Heung-min set up Kyle Walker, with the defender placing a finish in to the corner with the outside of his right foot.
Manuel Lanzini did pull a goal back late on with a great finish in to the top corner, but Spurs coasted to victory in the end, leaving them just two points behind fourth placed Arsenal.
