Ward started the Championship encounter at Elland Road and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The youngster took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 50%, created one chance, put in three crosses, attempted one dribble, won 33% of his tackles, and made one interception, one clearance and three blocks.
Joe Newell’s headed goal in the 54th minute proved to be enough for Rotherham to pick up all three points at Elland Road.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road, Neil Redfearn’s side had 60% of the possession, took 14 shots of which just three were on target, and earned nine corners.
Rotherham are second from bottom in the Championship table at the moment with just 12 points from 17 matches.
