Gary Lineker comments on Harry Kane's two-goal performance against West Ham

The Tottenham Hotspur forward continued his impressive form.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to have his say on Harry Kane’s performance against West Ham United.

The England international maintained his outstanding recent form by scoring two goals in a 4-1 victory against the Hammers on Sunday and Lineker – who knows a thing or two about finding the net – was quick to praise the 22-year-old.

Writing on social media on Sunday afternoon, the Match of the Day host said, “Perfect turn and finish from Kane,” when the forward put Tottenham ahead in the 23rd minute, and he later said, “Harry Kane…he’s got two on his own,” when the forward made it 3-0 in the second half.

In between Belgium international Toby Alderweireld had scored to double Tottenham’s advantage, before Kyle Walker and Manuel Lanzini scored in the final few moments, and such was Spurs’ dominance throughout that there was no doubting the rightful victor in this clash.

Kane now has nine goals for Tottenham this season, including seven in his last four outings, and in that kind of form he has every chance of getting close to the 31 he managed last season.
