Gary Lineker has praised Tottenham Hotspur on social media site Twitter after they demolished West Ham United this afternoon.
Spurs dismantled the Hammers 4-1, as they moved even closer to the Champions League qualification spaces.
Tottenham are just two points behind the top-four, and Lineker is very excited by the squad which Mauricio Pochettino has assembled at White Hart Lane.

This is the most promising Spurs outfit for many a year. Pochettino has got them bang on!— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 22, 2015
Spurs raced into a 4-0 lead against West Ham, with two goals from Harry Kane, and solitary strikes from Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker providing them with the three points.
Even a late Manuel Lazini consolation did not take the gloss off what was a highly polished performance from Spurs.
Darren Anderton also reflected after the match, claiming that Tottenham’s performance was ‘a pleasure to watch’.
Pochettino’s side are now unbeaten in their last 12 Premier League matches, and their next league fixture comes against out-of-sorts Chelsea on Sunday.
