Keshi Anderson picked up an injury while on loan from Crystal Palace to Doncaster Rovers.
Crystal Palace striker Keshi Anderson has tweeted an update on his fitness condition, after picking up a suspected broken leg yesterday.
Anderson was stretchered off while playing for Doncaster Rovers against Rochdale on his loan spell, and he posted on social media from a hospital bed yesterday evening.
Thanks for the messages, find out the full extent of the injury in coming days, but I'll be back better & stronger. pic.twitter.com/0kAlMFnrG1— Keshi Anderson (@KeshMan_) November 21, 2015
Anderson’s injury is a huge blow for his development, as he has shown many signs of promise at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The rapid striker has broken into Doncaster’s first-team, and been a fairly frequent scorer ever since joining.
In what is first taste of senior football, Anderson has excelled – and there was great excitement building about his future at Palace.
However, he could be set for lengthy absence, if scans do confirm that the youngster has broken his leg.
Anderson has scored three goals in nine appearances for Doncaster so far, helping Darren Ferguson’s side into 16th in League One.
