The former Leeds boss guided Rotherham to a win.
Neil Redfearn picked up his first win as Rotherham United boss today and it came against his former club Leeds United - who treated him so poorly at the end of his Elland Road career.
The Yorkshireman was unceremoniously kicked out of the club by Massimo Cellino after a very spiky relationship between the pair.
Redfearn took over at Leeds twice last season after the maverick Italian let Dave Hockaday and Darko Milanic - two disastrous appointments - go.
He did a great job with the club under near impossible circumstances but while he may have not have had a fan in his boss Cellino he did have plenty of fans at the club.
Leeds fans were proud of the way Redfearn dealt with the problems at Leeds and his previous work with the youth team, which has seen the likes of Alex Mowatt, Sam Byram and Lewis Cook break into the first-team.
It was a big occasion for Redfearn and the ex-Leeds boss got a great reception from the home support. This video was published on the Twitter account of Press Association journalist Wayne Gardiner from the ground.

Clearly Leeds fans were happy to see 'Redders' back at the club. However, Cellino probably wasn't.
