Sinclair has a message for Liverpool fans, Rob Jones praises City player

Liverpool hammered Manchester City 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League today.

Trevor Sinclair has taken to social networking site Twitter to suggest that Liverpool fans should not get carried away with the win against Manchester City this evening.

The Reds returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 4-1 hammering of City at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool were the better side from start to finish and deservedly picked up all three points.

The Merseyside outfit’s fans are understandably over the moon and very excited, but former winger Sinclair has urged them not to get carried away.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool defender Rob Jones has praised the performance of City goalkeeper Joe Hart on Twitter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium, hosts City had 59% of the possession, took 11 shots of which three were on target, and earned 11 corners.

Visitors Liverpool had 41% of the possession, took 14 shots of which nine were on target, and earned five corners.
