Rio Ferdinand reacts on Twitter to Manchester United win, asks a key question

Manchester United have defeated Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.

Rio Ferdinand has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Manchester United’s narrow win against Watford away from home in the Premier League this afternoon.

United maintained their good run of good form with a 2-1 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.

Memphis Depay put the Red Devils in the lead in the 11th minute, but Troy Deeney restored parity from the penalty spot on 87 minutes.

However, the Watford striker scored a late own goal to hand the three points to Louis van Gaal’s side.

Former United defender Ferdinand was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win.

United are now at the top of the Premier League table with 27 points from 13 matches, a point clear of Manchester City and Arsenal.

Both City and Arsenal are in action later today, which means that the Red Devils may not remain the league leaders for very long.

However, the Red Devils have to be considered as genuine contenders for the title. As Ferdinand suggests, the win against Watford could prove to be important in boosting United’s confidence of going all the way this season.
