Confirmed Celtic line-up v Kilmarnock: Simunovic starts, Tierney left on the bench

Here is how Celtic line up to face Kilmarnock today.

Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Simunovic, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Forrest, Rogic, Armstrong; Griffiths.

Celtic substitutes: Bailly, Ambrose, Ciftci, Mackay-Steven, Allan, McGregor, Tierney.

Celtic will be hoping to keep up their fine recent league form as they take on Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership at home today.

The Bhoys have won the last five games in a row in the league, and are now searching for a sixth as they continue their quest for a fifth straight league title.

Manager Ronny Deila has been handed a boost with Jozo Simunovic being passed fit to play, and the Croatian is able to partner Dedryck Boyata in the heart of defence.

Teenager Kieran Tierney, who has arguably been Celtic's shining light this season, has been left on the bench, with Emilio Izaguirre coming back in to the side.

Further forward, Scott Brown and Nir Bitton partner each other in midfield as usual, with Stuart Armstrong handed a chance to impress as he joins Tom Rogic and James Forrest in supporting Leigh Griffiths.

On the bench, Deila can call upon the likes of Nadir Ciftci, Scott Allan and Gary Mackay-Steven, though Stefan Johansen is left out entirely as the Norwegian looks to rediscover his best form.
