Jamie Vardy put visiting Leicester in the lead on the stroke of half time, and Leonardo Ulloa and Shinji Okazaki added the second and the third goals in the 62nd and the 83rd minute respectively.
Former Newcastle striker Shearer was following the match, and he was far from impressed with the performance of the Magpies.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park, Newcastle had 54% of the possession, took nine shots of which just one was on target, and earned four corners.
Visitors Leicester had 46% of the possession, took 18 shots of which seven were on target, and earned nine corners.
Newcastle are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with just 10 points from 13 matches, only a point above the relegation zone.
