Former Nottingham Forest manager Stuart Pearce predicted on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning that Middlesbrough will win against Queens Park Rangers.
"I think Rangers are one of these real unpredictable sides in the league," said Pearce. "On any given day, you can’t tell what performance they are actually going to deliver.
"I think Middlesbrough have got the best squad in the league, without a doubt... I think Boro will win this game."
QPR will be looking to return to winning ways this evening when they take on Middlesbrough away from home in the Championship.
Rangers will head into the game at the Riverside Stadium on the back of a goalless draw with Preston North End at Loftus Road.
The London outfit are in a poor run of a form at the moment and have not won a competitive match since October 24.
QPR, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 20 points from 16 matches, eight points behind sixth-place Birmingham City.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough currently find themselves fourth in the standings with 30 points from 16 games.
Aitor Karanka’s side are just four points behind leaders Hull City and are very much in the running for a top-two finish in the Championship this campaign.
