Queens Park Rangers have suffered a 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough in the Championship.

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Middlesbrough this evening.

Rangers went down 1-0 to Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship.

Grant Leadbitter’s penalty in the third minute of injury time proved to be the difference between the two teams.

Austin, who missed the match due to a minor calf injury, has expressed his frustrations on Twitter.

Former QPR winger Trevor Sinclair has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the London club’s loss.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Riverside Stadium, hosts Middlesbrough had 62% of the possession, took 11 shots of which just one was on target, and earned nine corners.

QPR had just 38% of the possession, took six shots of which five were on target, and earned three corners.

Rangers are now 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 20 points from 17 matches, eight points behind six-place Birmingham City.
