Report: West Ham considering January move to sign ex-Liverpool youngster Suso

West Ham are reportedly looking to sign AC Milan's Suso.

According to Calcio Mercato, AC Milan are looking to loan Spanish playmaker Suso out in January, and West Ham United are one team looking in to the possibility of a deal.

Suso, 22, left Liverpool in January after a frustrating spell at Anfield, where he made only a handful of first team appearances before making the switch to the San Siro.

However, the Spaniard has struggled to make an impact under new Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, and a January exit could now be on the cards.

Calcio Mercato believe that Milan are ready to loan Suso out in January, and a host of clubs are looking to sign him, including Malaga, Celta Vigo, Villarreal and Genoa, as well as West Ham United.

The Hammers have seen star playmaker Dimitri Payet suffer an ankle injury, which means he will be out for at least three months - and manager Slaven Bilic should certainly be considering temporary replacements for the Frenchman, making Suso a sensible target.

After his failed spell with Liverpool, and his lack of playing time at Milan, Suso would be desperate to make a big impression should he return to the Premier League, but it's clear that the Hammers could face major competition for his signature when the January transfer window re-opens.
