Report: Sheffield Wednesday want Wrexham's Dominic Vose after becoming YouTube sensation

Sheffield Wednesday - The Owls

Wrexham's Dominic Vose is reportedly attracting interest.

According to The Sun, Sheffield Wednesday are locked in a four-team battle to sign Wrexham sensation Dominic Vose after his remarkable start to the season.

Vose, 21, started his career with Fulham and West Ham United, before dropping down to non-league with Braintree Town and Tooting and Mitcham United.

Moves to Barnet and Colchester United followed, but once again Vose moved back down in to non-league with Welling United, then joined up with Wrexham over the summer - and that move has really paid dividends for the attacking midfielder.

With nine goals in 20 games for Wrexham, Vose is making waves in North Wales, and he has even become a YouTube sensation over the last week having scored a sensational solo goal against Gateshead, with the video on Wrexham's official YouTube channel having over 400,000 views already.

Now, transfer speculation is starting to surround Vose, and The Sun believe that four Championship clubs are weighing up moves for him despite his yo-yoing between the Football League and non-league.

The report states that Birmingham City, Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all chasing Vose's signature after his stunning start to the season.

Wednesday famously let Leicester City star Jamie Vardy leave the club as a youngster, and given his path through non-league football to Premier League and international action, the Owls may be keen to give a non-league player a chance to shine at Hillsborough, with Vose an alleged target.
