People News: Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Goldman

For Hire

Deutsche Bank has put Ashley Wilson and Greg Bunn jointly in charge of its prime finance unit, a business co-CEO John Cryan wants to build to reduce dependence on costly debt-trading operations.

Bloomberg News reports that the bank also named Rick Saunders head of equity trading in addition to overseeing equities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and appointed Brad Kurtzman head of equity derivatives and head of trading for Americas equities, a company spokesman said in an e-mail from London on Wednesday.

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports that Morgan Stanley, the second-ranked adviser on mergers and acquisitions this year, named Susie Huang head of that business in the Americas after the unit’s two leaders left.

Finally, Bloomberg News reports that UBS hired Todd Lopez, a Goldman Sachs managing director, as head of electronic trading in the Americas.

Lopez, who most recently oversaw electronic-trading distribution in the Americas for Goldman Sachs, will start in late February and be based in New York.
