Michael Owen predicts Newcastle v Leicester

Newcastle United will face Leicester City at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Michael Owen has predicted on Colossusbets.com that this weekend’s Premier League game between Newcastle United and Leicester City will end in a draw.

Newcastle will take on Leicester at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and the former England international striker believes that the spoils will be shared.

“They (Leicester) will be praying that their goal machine Jamie Vardy is fit and firing after a recent groin injury but, either way, I fancy a scoring draw here, so I take 1-1 and Any Other Draw (AOD),” the former Newcastle striker wrote on Colossusbets.com.

Newcastle will head into the game at St. James’ Park on the back of a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium.

The Magpies were totally outplayed in that match, but at the end of the day three points are all that matter.

Steve McClarens’s side are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from 12 matches, just two points above the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Leicester are flying high in the table and have been the surprise package of the season so far.

Claudio Ranieri’s side are currently third in the standings with 25 points from 12 matches.

The Foxes are just a point behind leaders Manchester City and Arsenal, who are first and second respectively.
