Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has taken to social networking site Twitter to give an update on his injury.
The England international is on the sidelines at the moment after breaking a bone in his right foot in training in September.
The 25-year-old has returned to full training, but he is not ready for competitive action yet.
The former Sunderland star remains upbeat, though, and has posted the following messages on Twitter and Instagram:
Feeling better everyday, Thanks to all the medical/fitness staff! And thanks for all your support.… https://t.co/WzCsdhTdyp— Jordan Henderson (@JHenderson) November 19, 2015
Henderson, who has been on the books of Liverpool since 2011, has featured in only two Premier League appearances so far this season, creating one chance in the process.
Liverpool are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 17 points from 12 matches.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will take on Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the league on Saturday evening.
City are currently at the top of the standings with 26 points from 12 matches.
