Leeds face Rotherham in the Championship this weekend.
Ian Holloway believes Leeds United will beat Rotherham United 2-0 in the Championship this weekend, according to his regular Sky Sports predictions column.
Rotherham, managed by former Leeds boss Neil Redfearn, travel to Elland Road on Saturday on a bad run of form.
The Whites, however, have won three in a row - two in the Championship - and Holloway believes they were 'sensational' against Huddersfield Town. That has led the pundit and former coach to back United for a repeat showing this time around.
"I saw Leeds against Huddersfield and they were sensational. Surely that bloke can't chuck Evans out now. This honeymoon period won't last forever but I hope he gets a longer contract than the one he's on now.
"Now they've got the monkey off their back at home and got the crowd back on side, I think they'll beat Rotherham."
Despite sitting 15th in the Championship table, Leeds are only nine points off the play-off places. In terms of how things tend to go in the second tier, that isn't a huge gap at all.
United certainly have a long way to go before they can think about that kind of thing, of course, but their recent form will have done wonders for Evans' standing at Elland Road.
As for this weekend's Yorkshire derby, Redfearn has his work cut out and it would be quite an upset if the former Leeds boss could turn the formbooks on their head.
