The Hammers defender has stated that his side will be prepared to face Tottenham and their main man.
West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell has stated that his side will be prepared to face Harry Kane this weekend, with London 24 quoting the left-back as admitting that the Hammers know how good the striker is.
The London rivals are set to go toe-to-toe this Sunday at White Hart Lane, with both sides starting the new season in progressive moods.
The Boleyn Ground outfit have an excellent record on the road this term, beating the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in upset victories.
Tottenham meanwhile have not been beaten since the first day of the campaign and are in the running for a top-four berth this season.
Kane is Spurs’ attacking talisman and has found himself back amongst the goals recently after an early season barren spell.
Cresswell has stated that West Ham will be prepared to face Kane and will have a plan in place to nullify the England international.
“We haven’t really had time to talk about what formation we will use, you will have to ask the gaffer that, but as a team we are buzzing,” London 24 quote the defender as saying.
“We are doing quite well at the moment and that always helps when you come into training.
“We will address the threat of Harry Kane later in the week, but we are fully aware of how good he is.
“We are going to be ready for him, but they also have a number of other good players as well as him.”
A home win could lift Mauricio Pochettino’s side into the top four and would build on an impressive display against Arsenal last time out.
Slaven Bilic’s men will look to add another top-six side to their list of away scalps, with their 3-0 win on enemy soil in 2013 still in the memory.
