Leeds United defender Lewie Coyle has penned a new two-year contract at Elland Road.
Liam Cooper has tweeted a congratulatory message to Lewie Coyle after the youngster signed a new two-year deal at Leeds United.
Coyle penned a new contract yesterday, and he is now set to stay at Elland Road until 2017.
Cooper clearly feels that the decision to keep Coyle at the Whites was a good one, and he messaged his teammate on Twitter after the news was announced.
Well done bro! Fully deserved.. https://t.co/7YrVHRCuyT— Liam Cooper (@LiamCooper__) November 17, 2015
Coyle is set to go straight out on loan after penning his new deal, according to Leeds' official site, as Leeds want to get him first-team experience.
The 19-year-old is yet to have a sustained run at senior level, and the Whites feel his development would be best served by going elsewhere.
Leeds have hopes that Coyle could come into their senior side at a later date, as he has shown great potential at development squad level.
Coyle has captained Leeds’ under-21 side, and he could be lined-up as a ready-made replacement for Sam Byram.
