The 20-year-old is currently thriving on loan at Shrewsbury Town.
Crystal Palace have picked up a reputation in recent times for fast-paced attacking football. The likes of Wilfried Zaha, Yannick Bolasie, Bakary Sako and Jason Puncheon have certainly helped with that style of play and one of their young players who could slot into such a system is young attacker Sullay Kaikai.
He recently picked up a big accolade, being named the League One Player of the Month after a fantastic spell with Shrewsbury Town.
He joined the club on loan in September until the end of the year and has scored four goals in nine appearances for the club.
Now a former Crystal Palace man has backed him to make it at Selhurst Park. Danny Gabbidon, the former Welsh international, was with Palace for two seasons and is clearly a big fan of the winger.
He told the South London Press this week:
“Sullay is on loan at Shrewsbury and was the League One player of the month for October.
“If he keeps working hard, he could break into the Palace side in the next couple of years.”
Kaikai fits the mold of a Alan Pardew player perfectly and would certainly be an option for the future.
If he can keep up his current form with the League One side he might just get that chance later in the current season.
