UBS has hired Abudy Taha, formerly of Credit Suisse, as a managing director in leveraged-finance and capital markets.

Bloomberg News reports that Taha will be responsible for activities covering both loans and high-yield securities for private equity and corporate clients, according to an internal memo, which was confirmed by a UBS spokeswoman. He will report to David Slade, global co-head of leveraged-finance and capital markets.

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports UBS hired four bankers from Jefferies Group as the bank seeks to build its global technology business.

Paul Crisci joins as global head of technology after 12 years at Jefferies, Ros Stephenson, UBS’s chairman of global corporate client solutions, said Monday in a memo obtained by Bloomberg. The bank also named Jason Auerbach as global head of technology mergers and acquisitions and Jasson Cohen as co-head of software, while Chris Montgomery will be an executive director in the tech group.
