Manchester City’s Joe Hart has told the FA's official website that he is a big fan of Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris.
Hart and Lloris are set to face off against each other during England’s match against France on Tuesday evening, and the Three Lions’ stopper has a lot of respect for his counterpart.
Hart claims that Lloris is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and he is looking forward to being in direct competition with the Spurs man at Wembley.
“Obviously I'm a fan of Hugo Lloris in goal, he's a top keeper, a leader, very quick and very effective," Hart said.
"He's been an established player for a very long time and is well thought of by his club and country because he's captain of both.”
Lloris has become a fans’ favourite at White Hart Lane, with his performances for Tottenham being consistently excellent.
The 28-year-old has excelled for a number of seasons between Spurs’ posts, and his shot-stopping ability has dazzled.
Lloris' proactive style of goalkeeping also helps with Tottenham's tactics, which demands that their defence play with a high line.
Lloris has conceded just 10 times in 12 Premier League matches this term, and his form has helped Spurs to climb into fifth place in the current top-flight standings.
