Tottenham Hotspur-owned Rangers winger Nathan Oduwa has revealed to the club’s official website how he likes to annoy his teammate James Tavernier during training sessions.
Oduwa joined Scottish Championship side Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
Defender Tavernier also signed for the Gers in the summer, joining from English League One club Wigan Athletic.
When asked by Rangers’ official website which player Oduwa enjoys beating with skill in training the most, the 19-year-old winger said: “James Tavernier because it is really funny how he gets agitated and a bit angry when I beat him with a clever piece of skill and then he starts grilling his own team when it was his fault.”
Rangers are having a fabulous season at the moment and are on course to winning the Scottish Championship this season.
Mark Warburton’s side are at the top of the league table at the moment with 36 points from 13 matches.
The Gers are five points clear of Hibernian, who are currently second in the standings.
The Glasgow outfit will take on Livingston away from home in the Scottish Championship this weekend.
