One of Liverpool's exciting young strikers is now back and ready to show what he can do in training.
Dunn is a 20-year-old striker who is yet to make his competitive debut for Liverpool’s senior side but has regularly impressed for the under-21s, scoring 12 goals in 34 appearances.
Loan spells at Cheltenham Town and Burton Albion were mixed, with Dunn scoring three goals in five appearances for the former but only appearing once for the latter.
Injuries have unfortunately played their part for Dunn but he is now fit and hoping to show Klopp exactly what he is capable of, having recently featured in the behind-closed-doors friendly against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Speaking to liverpoolfc.com, the youngster said of Klopp, “He seems terrific. I can’t wait to work with him.
“With these games behind closed doors, some players might turn their heads and think nothing of it, but for us these are the opportunities that you have got to take and shine through.”
Liverpool have a huge amount of talented young players coming through from their academy and it is up to Klopp to ultimately decide who has what it takes to make an impact on the first-team, either now or in the future.
If he can stay fit, Dunn certainly has the ability to score for Liverpool’s first-team, but under the watchful gaze of Klopp the hard work now really begins.
