Leeds United head coach Steve Evans appears to be an admirer of Hull City manager Steve Bruce.

Leeds United head coach Steve Evans said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News HQ on Saturday afternoon that he admires Hull City manager Steve Bruce.

While discussing the importance of keeping everyone in the squad happy, including the players who are not playing, Evans said: “Steve Bruce does it terrifically well (manages to keep everyone involved) and that’s why he has 23, 24 players charging to get in.”

Hull got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, but they are on course to bouncing straight back up.

The Tigers are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 34 points from 16 matches, level on points with second-place Brighton & Hove Albion and ahead on goal difference.

Bruce is doing a wonderful job at the KC Stadium, and Hull fans will hope that the team continue to maintain their good form and pick up points as the season progresses.

A top-two finish in the Championship this season is the clear objective of Hull, as that will see them gain automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Leeds find themselves 15th in the Championship table at the moment with 19 points from 16 matches, six points above the relegation zone.
